Objective

Understand packaging-sector practices, challenges, and opportunities to inform sustainable investment and development decisions.

Factoría Sostenible gathers evidence from companies and actors across the packaging value chain in the region. Findings will help IDB Invest guide technical and financial support toward packaging solutions that are more circular, competitive, and lower in environmental impact.

How participation works

The process

The study unfolds in two sequential stages. Both are limited to invited participants.

  1. Survey

    First stage of the process. Collects structured information on packaging practices, materials, circularity, and operational challenges.

  2. Interview

    Second stage of the process. Deepens selected experiences emerging from the survey through guided qualitative conversations.
